12.01.08 *shrug*

I bought this shrug at Kohl's. I like it. It was a Level 1, but I didn't bother to check the dress memo, so I didn't know that.

It's a sweater! This tank is sparkly and I got it from Wal Mart. It's like, two sizes two small but I wear it anyway. I also have it in black, a size too big. :)

I wore bees today. Cameo said they were ugly. I said her face was ugly. But that's just how we roll, so I don't think she really thought they were ugly.

11.19.08 Barb's Shirt

I liked my outfit today. It's me.

I hate my pictures.  I hate that I have to take pictures with my camera phone.  I hope to have a new camera before 2009 arrives. Until then, blah.

This is the lace shirt Barb gave me, with a purple tank underneath, black pants, Nine West slingbacks. I've been wearing them for days (or boots) because of an unfortunate incident which left me missing a chunk of my ankle, therefore unable to wear most of my shoes. I tried to wear my purple flats today, but it just didn't work out.

11.18.08 In with the new!

So, I wore this boring outfit to work today. I felt fat all day because I am. This is a nice pinstriped skirt, but it's a little snug on me now. And you've seen it before. It was a Level 1 and I didn't wear a suit. Oops!

Enough about today, seriously. Today I got a box from my friend Barbarella. And let me tell you, it was SO exciting. As I was opening it and pulling each thing out, my daughter was all, "Are you going to cry??" HA! Seriously. This is amazing.

She sent me these three t-shirts! The Breakfast Club, Easy Like Sunday Morning, and I Hated Bush Before It Was Cool!

There was a fourth shirt that didn't make the picture because it got covered in smashed styrofoam balls. And it's kind of offensive, but I like it!

Then there is this jacket. Sorry the pictures are so shitty.

I might want some suggestions on how to wear it, but right now I'm thinking black pants. I always think black pants.

Then there's this shirt. Black lace. I know exactly what to do with this. Maybe even wear it with that jacket up there?

Detail.

Then there's this dress. I'm not 100% sold on it yet, but I do like it a lot. It feels like a robe!! And it still has the tags on it. :)

The arm holes are friggin huge. How giant is my armpit supposed to be, exactly? Am I supposed to be smuggling small children under there? WMD's?

The sleeve fit is also kind of funny, which I've found with this brand (apt. 9 from Kohl's - some stuff I love, other stuff I love but it fits all crazy like). When I raise my arm, the shoulder puffs up and it's tight on my bicep due to all that extra room in my armpits for child smuggling.

Overall, I love it. And I will probably wear it. The fit issues are minor.

11.14.08 Pete fell off...

You've see this outfit before. Somehow I didn't get some of the pictures uploaded from my camera, so this is all you get. I wore my black cardigan today as well, and realized that it's dying and will soon need to be replaced. :(

Do you know how hard it is to stand like this? I do.

Old picture of the stars. I miss my camera. *sniff*

Home. I look very devious and naughty, which proved to be true later on in the evening. I didn't get pictures of that, though!

11.13.08 Another Day, Another Suit

That's kind of a lie. This is NOT "another suit". This is a suit you've already seen. I only own one black suit.

See, I wore this sleeveless pink shirt underneath. Because I get real hot and sweat a lot. Like today.

Earrings. Old. Boring. Seen.

I don't know what I'm doing here.

Mr. Cuddles loves to sniff the armpits of my shirts after I take them off.

11.06.08 Headache

I went home early today because I had a headache. But I still took pictures for.

This suit is navy blue.

I wore these torture devices. My toenail polish is sooo chipped.

Hoops.

I love the lining of this jacket.

My sort-of smiley headache face.

Without the jacket.

I know my pictures pretty much suck today. There is detail to that shirt you probably need to see. And I didn't adjust the colors at all. Basically, my head hurts.

The end.

Day 14 - This Sucks

So, my camera being broken is one of the worst things to happen to me this week. My cable being shut off, internet being shut off - those things were minor. And over now.

So, my lovely friend Erin suggested I just continue the blog with camera phone photos until I can get another camera.

I said OK.

This is that other Sears-Mart cardigan that I told you about, and showed you a picture of as well! I kind of like it, except for it left all these red fuzzies in my armpits today. :/

I look a little skinnier than usual in this picture. I might like taking these mirror pictures after all... I'm wearing black pants (again - I think I have 4-5 pairs) and a black tank underneath.

Cardigan detail. I ususally don't wear things that tie around the waist and billow out around the hips like this, but for some reason I think I look cute.  I feel cute, anyway.

Angel wings again, and the same studs from yesterday, except I moved them up a hole. My ears didn't get irritated, either! Yay!

These are not the shoes I came to work in, but I came home in them.

I was gifted three pairs of shoes by a co-worker. And here they are!

Day 12 - Black and Gray

So, I'm not sure if this is really Day 12. Or a different day. But I'm calling it Day 12. And if you ever dispute me on which day it actually is, I will probably argue with you. Not that I really care or anything, but I call the shots around here. Or something.

Anyway, I spent money at Sears-Mart yesterday on two sweaters. I already told you about that. This is the one that I didn't post a picture of, and one that I was very excited to wear. Yes, I know this outfit is boring. But I like it because I am boring. So there.

I took a picture in front of my red door, to be different. It was a Level 1 today - like I care.

This picture is funny, not only because I'm fat, but because I'm moving my head, so my face is all blurry and weird. That's really the only reason why I'm posting it.

So, today I decided I wanted to wear some very plain, black loafer-ish shoes, but I remembered the ones I had wore out and I threw them away. But then I saw these on my top closet shelf, and thought, "Hmmmm... I wonder why these are up here? I could totally wear these!" And I did! Except by 8:30 a.m., I was up by the first aid kit applying bandaids to my ankles because my skin had rubbed raw. Keep in mind I have a desk job!

The band aids didn't work. I seriously COULD NOT WALK in these shoes by 8:45 a.m. My options were to 1. Borrow A Pair (today of ALL DAYS, no one had a pair of shoes under their desk), 2. Buy A Pair (which I could not do because I couldn't wear these shoes to shop in, even for five minutes, if someone paid me), or 3. Modify.

I modified.

OH YES I DID!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Hilarious, right? How about AMAZING AND INGENIOUS?! I was walking on clouds for the rest of the day. Thankfully my pants were really long.

Sweater detail. You know you want it.

I recognize that there are probably some layering options with this sweater that I am not aware of. I encourage you to suggest ways to layer and/or wear this sweater. (It is not long enough to pretend to be a dress, obvs.)

Skully hoops.

Sweaty me.

At home. When I went to take the first picture, I realised that little metal thingy on the door was all bent, so I tried to push it in real fast, but I wasn't fast enough.

Here I am "turning it out".
